An impressively large Lituites heteromorph nautiloid from the Ordovician period. With its destinctive features such as its combination of a coiled and straight shell, Lituites is one of the most recognisable and unusual marine fossils ever discovered. This large display specimen makes an exceptional addition to any fossil collection or would look equally beautiful displayed in the home with this fossils elegant features.

Age: Ordovician period 450 Ma. 

This Specimen was acquired from an old collection. China has prohibited the export of fossils for many years, so we advise international buyers that customs authorities may confiscate fossils originating from China. UK ownership and delivery within the UK is unaffected.
