An impressive large jaw section from the Woolly Rhinoceros (Coelodonta antiquitatis), one of the most iconic mammals of the ice age. 
This large fossil originates from Pest County, Hungary and dates to the Pleistocene period. 
The jaw section measures 34cm long and retains three well preserved teeth, together with the partial remains of a fourth tooth. 
As expected for a jaw from this region it has undergone some repair and stabilisation. A clear coating has been applied to help perserve this specimen. The main teeth are very well preserved, with some minor chipping in places. 
A striking and highly displayable ice age fossil.
