An exceptionally well prepared Scabriscutellum trilobite from Morocco displaying an impressive level of fine detail and preservation. 

This attractive example measures 4cm long and is presented on its original matrix which measures 9cm. 

This trilobite has very minimal repairs except for minor glue repairs such as the natural fracture running through the middle of the matrix and trilobite which is very typical of Moroccan Devonian period trilobites and actually helps with its authenticity. 

The fossil is mounted to a display base using a small screw that is only visible from underneath. We also provide a clear protective plastic dome to help protect this fossil during transport.
