An impressive and recognisable premaxillary section from a mosasaur, preserving original teeth within the original matrix and jaw. Making this a particularly recognisable piece of mosasaur anatomy.
An interesting feature of this specimen is the presence of other small fossils preserved within the surrounding matrix adding to its authenticity and overall interest.
This fossil has undergone preparation and cleaning but we have not identified any major restoration, although there may be a very small repaired area towards the end of the premax. The teeth are all original teeth within the original matrix.
A very authentic and highly displayable piece from an iconic marine reptile.
