An impressive sauropod tooth measuring 5cm long, originating from the Atlas mountains of Morocco and is attributed to Turiasauria.
This tooth retains a substantial amount of attractive original enamel, giving the tooth excellent colure and display appeal. Its broad form is characteristic of the large sauropods that inhabited the region during the late Jurassic-early Cretaceous period.
The tooth displays areas of natural damage and fracturing particularly around the lower portion of the tooth. There is no major restoration, although some minor glue repairs are present. These can all be seen in the photos provided.
Overall this is a very good quality tooth and is very displayable with attractive enamel preservation.
This fossil is supplied in a plastic display case.
Free premium international dleivery is included with this item.
