A beautifully prepared Morocaitus or Morocconites as its often called, this Devonian period trilobite is popular for its strange shovel like appendage possibly used to stir up the ocean bed in search of food. Found in Jbel Oufatene, Morocco.  
We can not see any signs of any major restoration only the usual very fine glue repairs often associated with preparing these delicate fossils. 
This trilobite measures 8cm long and the rock is 10cm long making this a visually impressive trilobite for any collection.
