A rare late Cretaceous fossil fish skull. This skull is thought to be from a member of the Enchodus family but this has not been 100% confirmed as this also bears resemblance to the Stratodus fish family and some others. The skull is still in the original rock in a plaster cast to keep it secure and stable. The fossil’s origin is the mining pits of Oued Zem in Morocco. This is a very large and quite heavy piece. Skull size is about 73cm.
