An impressive large theropod dinosaur rib from the famous Kem-Kem beds of Morocco.
Measuring 39cm across this is a highly displayable fossil that also looks visually stunning.
This species is from a large theropod dinosaur and has been suggested as possibly belonging to a spinosaurid dinosaur. A more precise identification can not be confirmed on an isolated bone.
There is an obvious repaired section towards the end of the rib and a glue repair in the centre of the rib and a few other minor glue repairs. We can see no evidence of any major reconstruction.
A light coating of conservation grade Paraloid B-72 has been applied to help stabilise the fossil and can be reversed if required.
Comes with a wooden display mount to show case this stunning piece.
Free DHL express international shipping is provided on this piece.
