An impressive and highly detailed fossil of a Eurypterus Remipes, the famous prehistoric 'sea scorpion', preserved on its original rock matrix.  
This specimen originates from the Fiddlers green formation of New York and dates to the Late Silurian period. 
Some minor glue repairs have been done to stabilise the fossil.
