A beautifully preserved piece of Ordovician natural history, presented with both the positive and negative halves. 

From the Mecissi region of Morocco Anti-Atlas Mountains, this Declivolithus alfredi offers a particularly engaging way to display this fossil with both the positive impression and negative impression of the trilobite displayed as a pair with each side displaying unique details. Both halves still fit together adding a wonderful insight into the fossilisation process.  

This is a fascinating addition to any collection or an elegant natural history display piece. 

Both sides come with a clear plastic display stand that does not detract from the fossils. 

Fossil sizes: One side of the rock is 11cm wide and the other side of the rock is 10cm wide, the trilobite size is 4cm wide. 

There are no major repairs, some usual natural ware and chips from where the fossil was excavated, there is no major reconstruction or resins used.
